Job summary

Six Flags Corp is seeking a Full-Time Ride Mechanic for Dorney Park. After training, you will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and rehabilitate various amusement rides, with occasional high-altitude work and night shifts included to meet park needs.

The role requires mechanical experience, a valid PA driver’s license, and within a year, State Ride Inspector certification. Benefits include paid time off, medical options, 401K, and park access.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of mechanical experience; amusement setting preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old; PA driver’s license.
• State Ride Inspector Certification within one year; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly on rides and equipment; take corrective actions.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, and testing of rides and equipment; replace major components as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems with supervision; maintain accurate records of inspections.
• Communicate ride status verbally and in writing; read and apply manufacturer manuals.
