Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an RIA Custody Analyst to sit on site in Salt Lake City, 5 days a week, supporting the Broker Operations team. You will work with brokerage, execution and servicing experts to ensure risk is mitigated and processes run smoothly.

The role requires 1+ year of experience in a financial institution, a related Bachelor's degree, and knowledge of custody, portfolio management, and risk management. Excellent communication with internal clients is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a financial institution.
• Knowledge of asset servicing, portfolio management and/or clearing operations.
• Hands on experience with risk management and analysis.
• Aptitude for building relationships and communicating complex issues to internal clients.

Responsibilities

• Understand the trade lifecycle and process flows for RIA initiated investment products.
• Partner with brokerage, execution and servicing teams to deliver client service while mitigating exposure risk.
• Support growth initiatives with a focus on risk and controls around RIA initiated products.
• Show meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Identify process and controls improvements using evolving tools to enable scalability.

One of Insight Global's top clients within Investment Banking is looking for an RIA Custody Analyst to sit on site in Salt Lake City 5 days a week. This person will support the RIA Custody Broker Operations team. This team is responsible for partnering with the business and federation in order to facilitate business growth with a key focus on the risk and control around RIA initiated investment products. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, this team is responsible for developing the processes and controls that makes business flow.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle and process flows of RIA initiated investment products: equities, fixed income, mutual funds, retirement products, etc
• Partner with a teams of brokerage, execution and servicing experts to deliver top notch client service while ensuring exposure risks are appropriately mitigated.
• Work alongside the business and federation in order to facilitate business growth with a key focus on the risk and control around RIA initiated investment products
• Showcase your attention to detail and ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Identify processes and controls improvement by leveraging constant evolving tools that can be used to build scalability

Skills and Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working within a financial institution
• Bachelor's Degree in a related Field
• Knowledge of asset servicing, portfolio management and/or clearing operations.
• Hands on experience with risk management and analysis - Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal clients with differing levels of product experience.
• Operational knowledge of the custody and clearing business model and supported products, process flows, vendors, etc.
• Experience working with RIA
