Job summary

Midwest Cardiovascular Institute in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the Rhythm Management department to perform device interrogations and programming checks for multiple manufacturers in clinics. You will educate patients and families on remote monitoring and coordinate effectively with physicians and device representatives.

Responsibilities include documenting and billing services, maintaining CPT coding familiarity, and leveraging Paceart and cloud-based device

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and current RN licensure in Illinois.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Extensive experience with device programming and checks.
• Ability to assist with device interrogation and programming.
• Knowledge of CPT codes related to device and rhythm management.
• Experience with Paceart and cloud-based device sites.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-office device interrogations and programming for multiple manufacturers.
• Understands how to use each device programmer for interrogation or programming.
• Educates patients and families about device functionality, remote monitoring, and follow-up.
• Builds relationships with device company reps and physicians to improve outcomes.
• Ensures proper documentation and billing of services performed.
• Collaborates with the Rhythm Management department to achieve goals.
• Ensures patient follow-up compliance and remote monitoring participation.
