Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and typing ability desired

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry patients continuously and interpret rhythms
• Identify rhythm abnormalities and notify RN promptly
• Record rhythm strips and chart patient data; RN to initial entries
• Prepare telemetry unit, leads, and electrodes; assist as nursing assistant when needed
• Identify artifacts or lead failures and communicate issues to RN
• Orient new employees to telemetry systems as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
