Job summary

Smart Hires Corporation is seeking a Monitor Tech to monitor telemetry rhythms, interpret rhythms, and promptly notify RNs of any critical changes. Responsibilities include documenting rhythm strips, entries, and discharges, and preparing telemetry equipment and patient leads for application.

Requirements include a current BLS certification, high school diploma or GED, and basic computer/typing skills. Some hospital experience may be preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required; proof due at hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology desirable.
• Good computer entry/typing skills.
• Fluent English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry rhythms and interpret rhythms.
• Notify RN of any rhythm changes promptly.
• Document rhythm strips and patient entries; ensure chart accuracy.
• Prepare telemetry unit, leads, electrodes and ensure proper placement.
