Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services seeks a Human Services Program Consultant I (NS) to coordinate behavioral health initiatives under the Rural Health Transformation Program. The role focuses on implementation, coordination, and program integrity to advance grant objectives in partnership with internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mental health service systems.
• Experience supporting program implementation, including planning, coordination, monitoring, and program improvement.
• Strong project management skills including the ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and reporting activities.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal and state policies, rules, and guidance to program operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to partner with evaluation staff to build data and reporting structures and use data to inform program improvements and decision-making
