Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED with two years of coding-related training or experience.
• RHIT and CCS credentials are required for this role.
• Experience with encoder systems and computer information systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Code discharged inpatients and outpatients accurately, efficiently, and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, HIM staff, insurers and reviewers as part of the coding process.
