Job summary

Qualifications

• Rhode Island RN license required.
• Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association).

• Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Triages patient calls and schedules appointments.
• Obtains medical history, vitals, and current concerns at initial visit.
• Provides injections and assists with procedures.
• Offers rheumatology education and referrals.
• Maintains documentation and patient safety; participates in QA and risk management.
• Supports colleagues and serves as resource for Medical Assistants.
