Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing with current RN license in Rhode Island.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Ability to care for patients across the life span with cultural sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic comfort and support according to patient needs.
• Triages patient phone calls and responds by day end.
• Obtain medical history, vitals, and prepare for physician visit.
• Perform injections and assist with procedures as needed.
• Educate on rheumatology care and coordinate referrals.
• Review lab results daily and notify patients of abnormal findings.
• Document nursing actions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Support colleagues and mentor Medical Assistants.
