Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency and/or fellowship completed in area of specialty.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examinations of patients.
• Provide cost-effective, high-quality care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Communicate with referring physicians, patients and families.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate care with other professionals and agencies.
• Initiate treatment via prescriptions, tests and procedures; review lab results.
