Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our rheumatology outpatient team. You will conduct new and follow-up visits for adult rheumatology patients, coordinate care, and perform procedures including injections, working with rheumatology physicians and other advanced providers.

You'll join a multidisciplinary team at Junction Road Medical Center and Eastpark Medical Center with 100% day shifts, Monday through Friday, to support high-quality, cost-effective care,

Qualifications

Requires Wisconsin NP or PA licensure with prescriptive authority.
Active board certification as NP or PA.
Active DEA license or ability to apply for one prior to hire.

Responsibilities

Provide new patient visits, follow-up visits, and coordinate care for adult rheumatology patients in outpatient setting.
Perform routine clinical procedures including injections as outlined in practice agreements.
Work collaboratively within a team of rheumatology physicians and other advanced practice providers.
