Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Must present Medical Assistant diploma within 90 days and complete a 160-hour externship.
• BLS Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and clerical support to the patient care team and providers.
• Assist patients with exam prep, vital signs, and injections as directed.
• Utilize EHR and MS Office to document care and coordinate workflows.
• Interpret data and instructions in written or verbal form to support care plans.
