Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for five RHA Board of Directors roles to promote engagement, provide resources, advocacy, and operational support for residents in Residential Life, Housing, and Food Services. Directors collaborate with the Executive Board and Coordinator of Student Engagement on projects and events.

Positions require being a full-time student at UNR, completing 15 credits per semester, maintaining a 2.5 GPA, and adhering to conflict-of-interest and training

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student at University of Nevada, Reno.
• Complete a minimum of 15 credits per semester of employment.
• Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA (semester and cumulative) while holding the Board position.
• Cannot hold secondary employment without approval.
• Must not hold conflicting campus positions during duties.

Responsibilities

• Chair or assist with department committees.
• Plan and organize events with RHA Executive team.
• Maintain RHA Resource Center and monitor office hours/requisitioned resources.
• Act as RHA liaison to community Leadership Councils.
• Create and gather information for marketing/promotion of activities.
