Job summary

EXFO is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist for remote fiber test and monitoring (RFTM) in the DACH region. Based in Germany, you will drive technical engagement, PoCs, and solution validation across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with remote support as needed.

You will collaborate with Solution Sales, pre-sales, Product Management, and Engineering to design, demonstrate, and deploy EXFO RFTM solutions, ensuring alignment with customer data centre and network requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong background in telecommunications networks.
• Experience with OTDR fibre testing and monitoring.
• Knowledge of Data Centre architectures and hyperscale environments.
• Fluent German for customer communication in the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• Support Solution Sales through technical discovery, solution positioning, and customer workshops.
• Deliver customer-specific RFTM demonstrations and PoCs; plan, configure, and validate PoCs.
• Plan and execute PoCs including configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Support OSS/BSS discussions, API integrations, and data exchange considerations.
• Document PoC results and provide technical recommendations.
