Job summary

Alegeus is hiring an RFP Writer to craft compelling, strategic proposals that showcase the value of Alegeus solutions and strengthen our competitive position. You will collaborate across functions to translate complex concepts into client-focused content and lead RFx response projects to ensure timely, compliant deliverables.

The role emphasizes innovation, content development, and continuous improvement using proposal technologies and knowledge management tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in proposal development, RFx management, or related fields.
• Experience using proposal automation platforms such as RFPIO.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled writing and content management tools is preferred.
• APMP Certification is a plus.

• Develop proposals supporting both new business and partner growth opportunities, tailoring messaging to the unique objectives and stakeholders of each opportunity.
• Shape winning proposals that help drive new business growth and deepen strategic partnerships by telling the Alegeus story in a compelling and authentic way.

As a RFP Writer, these skills are essential for success: Abilities: Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical, operational, compliance, and business concepts into persuasive, audience-focused content; strong project management, analytical thinking, collaboration, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in proposal development, RFx management, or related fields within healthcare, employee benefits, fintech, or other highly regulated industries; experience using proposal automation platforms such as Responsive (RFPIO) or similar solutions; familiarity with AI-enabled writing and content management tools is preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field. APMP Certification is a plus.

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for this position’s compensation grade and represents a blended range across our three hub locations: Florida, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin. Within this range, individual compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and education. This range may also be adjusted based on geographic location and market conditions. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include bonuses, incentive plans, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Compensation Range: $66,800.00 - $113,700.00
