ELM MicroGrid is seeking a detail-oriented RFP Specialist to lead the development, coordination, and submission of proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and bid opportunities.

You will liaise across departments to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery, edit and format proposals, maintain content libraries, and drive milestone-driven processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, English, Technical Writing, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in proposal coordination, proposal management, RFP response development, bid management, or similar roles.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to analyze complex solicitation requirements and ensure proposal compliance.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality deliverables.

• Maintain reusable proposal content, qualifications, project profiles, and bid resources.
• Develop proposal schedules and ensure milestone deadlines are met.
• Review solicitation requirements and create compliance matrices and response plans.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and develop proposal content.
• Edit and format proposals for consistency, professionalism, and accuracy.
• Manage proposal files, records, and submission documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates, and content libraries.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized RFP Specialist to lead the development, coordination, and submission of high-quality proposals in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other bid opportunities.

This role serves as a key liaison between departments, ensuring that proposals are compliant, compelling, accurate, and submitted on time. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, project manager, and communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
