Job summary

AWT is seeking a Quality Control / Finisher at our Garner, NC location to inspect, finish, and prepare RFID label products for shipment while ensuring customer specifications and quality standards are met.

This role requires attention to detail, ability to read work orders, and operate finishing equipment. The schedule is Thursday-Friday-Saturday, 5am–5pm; overtime opportunities; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA, 401(k) with match, holidays and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn RFID testing software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Ability to read work orders, specifications, and production documents.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect RFID labels to verify customer specs and quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections for print quality and RFID data accuracy.
• Verify RFID inlays and encoded data function properly with testing equipment.
• Review production paperwork to ensure requirements are met.
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
• Operate finishing equipment and prepare orders for shipment.
