Job summary

AWT is seeking a Quality Control (QC) / Finisher at its Garner, NC site to inspect RFID labels, ensure quality, and prepare products for shipment. You will perform visual checks, verify RFID encoding, and operate finishing equipment to support timely delivery and customer specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong attention to detail. You will work Sunday–Tuesday, 5pm–5am, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn RFID testing software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
• Ability to read work orders, specifications, and production documents.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect RFID labels throughout production to verify customer specs and quality standards.
• Perform visual inspections for print quality, die-cut accuracy, and RFID data accuracy.
• Verify RFID inlays and encoded data function using testing equipment and software.
• Review production paperwork and customer specs to ensure requirements are met.
• Identify and report quality issues to supervisors and production personnel.
• Maintain inspection records and quality documentation.
• Operate finishing equipment such as rewinding, slitting, and fanfolding.
• Package finished products per customer requirements and procedures.
• Label, box, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Meet production schedules and quality expectations; support continuous improvement.
