Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an EDA Engineer to support RFIC and silicon design environments. The role focuses on maintaining EDA tools, improving flow reliability, and enabling productive workflows across analog, RF, mixed-signal, and digital silicon teams.

The engineer will collaborate with design, IT, foundries, and vendor teams to triage issues, automate recurring tasks, and develop runbooks and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
• 2+ years of experience in EDA/CAD support, IC design flow development, silicon design, physical verification, or CAD automation.
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends to meet critical milestones.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day EDA/CAD workflows for RFIC and silicon engineering teams, including tool launch, environment setup, PDK usage, simulation, verification, extraction, and related Linux workflows
• Support analog/RF/mixed-signal flows (Virtuoso, Spectre, EM tools) in addition to digital and physical verification flows
• Triage DRC, LVS, PEX, simulation, EM, license, HPC, and environment issues with reproducible debug practices
• Maintain and improve tool launch wrappers, scripts, and onboarding material
• Build lightweight automation in Python, Tcl, Shell, Makefile, or SKILL for log collection and health checks
