Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an EDA Engineer to support RFIC and silicon design environments. You will ensure reliable tool flows, manage PDK usage, and help automate common tasks across analog/RF/mixed‑signal and digital silicon workflows.

The role emphasizes collaboration with design teams, IT/HPC, and EDA vendors, with a focus on reproducible environments, documentation, and scalable flow improvements. A strong Linux/scripting background is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
• 2+ years of experience in EDA/CAD support and silicon design workflows.
• Experience with PDKs, tool flows, and automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with HPC workflows and Linux scripting is desirable.
• Ability to triage issues with clear runbooks and logs.
• Interest in AI/LLM-assisted EDA workflows and flow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day EDA/CAD workflows for RFIC and silicon teams.
• Assist with PDK installation, version tracking, and release notes.
• Triage DRC/LVS/PEX, simulation, and license issues with reproducible methods.
• Maintain runbooks, wrappers, and environment modules for flows.
• Build lightweight automation in Python, Tcl, shell, or Makefile.
• Create QA tests for PDK updates and tool upgrades before deployment.
