Job summary

pSemi Corporation in San Diego is seeking a student in a Bachelor’s Electrical Engineering program to assist in designing, developing, and characterizing high-performance RFICs for 5G/RFFE products and beyond.

You will work with engineers on lab measurements, simulation, and Cadence layout, with hands-on exposure to RF measurement equipment and data analysis; compensation is hourly at USD 32.20–58.32 with a third-party staffing arrangement.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a accredited Bachelor's program in Electrical Engineering (must be 3+ years remaining).
• Hands-on RF measurement exposure and lab reporting.
• Familiarity with RF IC design and layout preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design Validation: perform lab measurements and create validation reports comparing to design expectations.
• Test and Measurement: build hardware/software test benches for product verification.
• Product Characterization: measure and document data to meet product requirements.
• Derivative Product Design: assist with simulation and layout of derivative designs in Cadence.
