Qorvo, Inc. in Chelmsford, MA is seeking an RFIC Design Engineering Intern for projects in High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors. You will specify, analyze and simulate RF and analog/mixed-signal ICs and help implement blocks in silicon while supporting lab build and testing.

Current enrollment in MS or PhD Electrical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA is required. Proficiency with Cadence Spectre/SpectreRF, ADS, FEM, Momentum, and Cadence Virtuoso, plus Python or

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in MS or PhD Electrical Engineering with minimum GPA 3.0.
• Familiar with RF simulation tools such as Cadence Spectre/SpectreRF, ADS, FEM, Momentum.
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso; ability to guide layouts; Python or MATLAB experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, analyze and simulate RF and analog/mixed-signal ICs.
• Implement RF blocks such as Power Amplifiers, LNAs, RF Switches, Phase Shifters, and Attenuators.
• Calculate and simulate effects of parasitics using EM and other extraction tools.
• Support hardware assembly, test and debugging in a lab setting.
