Job summary

pSemi Corporation is recruiting an Engineer, RFIC Design in San Diego, CA to contribute to high‑performance RFIC products across the full life cycle from design to production. You will work on LNAs, PA controllers, mixers, RF switches, and digital step attenuators, using UltraCMOS architecture.

The role requires deep RF design knowledge, IC layout, simulations, and verification, plus hands‑on use of Cadence Virtuoso, ADS, and Matlab; strong lab measurement experience with network and spectrum

Qualifications

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or related.
Experience with RF design, RF switches, LNAs, PA, and mixers.
Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, ADS, and Matlab; lab measurement and test equipment.

Responsibilities

Design high-performance ICs using UltraCMOS technology across product lines (LNAs, PA controllers, Mixers, RF Switches, Digital Step Attenuators).
Lead development through product life cycle from definition to release to end‑of‑life; include schematic capture, IC layout, simulation, package analysis and validation.
Document design information for knowledge sharing; collaborate with characterization and test engineers for test plans and production ATE development.
