Job summary

pSemi Corporation, a Murata company, seeks an Engineer, RFIC Design to develop high-performance RFICs using UltraCMOS technology, including LNAs, PA controllers, mixers, RF switches and digital step attenuators.

From product definition through release to end-of-life, you will handle schematic capture, layout, simulation, packaging analysis and design validation, and work with test teams to define plans and analyze performance data.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related.
  • Experience in RF design, RF switches, LNAs, PAs and mixers.
  • Knowledge of IC fabrication and its impact on circuit performance; lab measurement with network/spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Responsibilities

  • Design high-performance ICs and contribute to product lines during the full life cycle from definition through release to end-of-life.
  • Perform schematic capture, IC layout, simulation, packaging analysis, and design validation.
  • Document design information and educate others on novel design techniques and provide guidance on product usage.
  • Work with characterization engineers to define test plans, analyze performance data, and support production ATE development with test engineers.
