Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an RF Welding Technician in Houston to support manufacturing of the AxEMU space suit. You will work with production and engineering teams, operate RF welding equipment, and ensure high-tolerance parts are built on schedule.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience; U.S. citizenship is required due to customer information sensitivity. Spaceflight hardware experience is preferred, and safety and 5S practices are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years of recent, related RF welding experience.
• Education: High School Diploma.
• Ability to sit at RF machine and handle materials safely.
• Spacesuit manufacturing or high-precision bladder work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate pressure bladder components on schedule.
• Operate RF Welding, Thermoforming, and test equipment.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and track 5S daily.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment and escalate issues.
• Support overtime as needed to meet schedule.
