Job summary

Dexter, a leader in axles and towing components, is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Sparta, TN. You will handle receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping in a fast-paced distribution setting, using an RF/RFI gun to track inventory and ensure accuracy.

The role emphasizes safety, detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with standard day shifts and paid training including safety and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience using an RF scanner/RFI gun strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer or WMS system familiarity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Use RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to company standards.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by staging, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling products.
• Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Organize stock in assigned locations and keep workspace clean.
• Follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
