Job summary

Dexter is hiring a Warehouse Worker to perform receiving, picking, packing, and shipping in a fast-paced distribution setting. You will use an RF scanner to track inventory, verify orders, and maintain accurate records in our WMS. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork in a day-shift environment.

Experience in warehouse operations and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are preferred. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and certification.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience using an RF scanner/RFI gun strongly preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer or WMS system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Use RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to company standards.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and scanning of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by staging, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling products.
• Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment.
• Organize stock in assigned locations and replenish pick locations as needed.
• Follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
