Job summary

Dexter is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker in Iowa to join a fast-paced distribution team. You will use an RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement, then accurately pick, pack, and stage orders per company standards.

You will also assist with receiving, shipping, cycle counts, and inventory audits while maintaining precise records in the WMS. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and familiarity with basic computer systems.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience using an RF scanner/RFI gun strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer or WMS system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Use an RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to company standards.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and scanning of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by staging, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling products.
• Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Organize stock in assigned warehouse locations, ensuring clean and efficient workspace flow.
• Replenish pick locations as necessary based on production and shipping needs.
• Follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
