Job summary

Dexter is seeking a dependable Warehouse Worker to perform a range of distribution tasks in a fast-paced facility in Iowa. You will use an RF/RFI gun to scan, pick, pack, and ship orders, while maintaining accuracy and safety in daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, cycle counts, and updating records in our WMS. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and adherence to OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience using an RF scanner/RFI gun strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic computer or WMS system familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Use an RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to company standards.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and scanning of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by staging, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling products.
• Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment as required.
• Organize stock in assigned warehouse locations, ensuring clean and efficient workspace flow.
• Replenish pick locations as necessary based on production and shipping needs.
• Follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
• Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Exposure to warehouse conditions including temperature variations, noise, and walking surfaces.
