Job summary

Astranis is seeking a Summer 2027 RF Validation Associate Engineer in Northern California. The twelve-week, salaried program is designed for graduates or soon-to-be graduates working on RF hardware, software, and space-ready test systems.

As an Associate Engineer, you will measure RF components, write automation code, and document test plans and methodologies for review, with opportunities to transition to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering, applied physics, or related technical field.
• Experience with Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Deep knowledge of RF concepts including transmission lines and S-parameters.
• Passion for hardware development in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Measure and validate performance of LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, and oscillators.
• Write automation code to speed up measurements.
• Document test plans, methodologies, and data for review.
