Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. in Newbury Park, CA is seeking a Validation Engineer Co-op for 6 months (June–December 2027) to support high-volume PA products and sub-systems for cellular handset applications. You will assist setup tests, gather data, and work with design engineers to optimize modules.

This role offers hands-on lab experience with RF test equipment, exposure to impedance matching, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSEE with RF/PA emphasis required; MSEE preferred.
• Hands-on lab debugging experience.
• Strong RF theory: impedance matching, noise, bandwidth.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up tests with guidance from a senior VE and collect data.
• Perform RF lab tests and analyze results.
• Assist design engineers to optimize matching circuits for module performance.
