Job summary

Skyworks is seeking a Validation Engineer Co-op in the Mobile Solutions Business unit at the Newbury Park design center. You will support high-volume power amplifier products by setting up tests, collecting data, and summarizing results.

The assignment lasts up to 6 months (January to June 2027). You will work with senior engineers to optimize modules and gain hands-on RF experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a BSEE or MSEE program with RF and PA theory emphasis.
• Circuit simulation skills using Agilent ADS/GoldenGate/SpectreRF.
• Understanding RF concepts: impedance matching, noise, bandwidth, stability.
• Strong self-motivation and teamwork with good verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior VE to set up tests and collect data for compliance.
• Perform lab testing with RF equipment and summarize results.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize matching circuits for better module performance.
