Job summary

Astranis seeks an Associate Engineer for a Winter 2027 program based in Northern California. You will measure and validate RF hardware such as LNAs and up/down converters, and write automation code to accelerate tests while documenting methodologies for review.

This twelve-week, salaried role targets bachelor's graduates; prior RF exposure is valued, including testing with spectrum analyzers and network analyzers. Internships are available for students still in college.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, or related field.
• Passion for hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep knowledge of RF concepts (transmission lines, S-parameters, RF blocks).
• Experience with Python and object oriented programming concepts.
• Experience taking RF measurements with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Measure and validate performance of LNAs, power amplifiers, up/down converters, filters, oscillators.
• Write automation code to speed up measurements.
• Document test plans, methodologies, and data for review.
