Job summary

TÜV SÜD America Inc. in New Brighton, MN is seeking a Technician to join the RF Service Line. You will contribute to wireless testing programs, performing ETSI/FCC tests, and documenting results.

Training is provided; technician level or engineer level depending on experience, with opportunities to develop skills in RF measurement and regulatory compliance. Onsite work, 40 hours/week, weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• A desire to learn new skills and willingness to understand new disciplines.
• Basic understanding of IT and/or electronics.
• Ability to work independently and be proactive.
• Experience with RF test equipment and RF testing standards.
• Education: Level 3 in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Good understanding of IT equipment from previous roles.

Responsibilities

• Test wireless products to ETSI and FCC standards in lab and on-site.
• Record results accurately and generate test reports per procedures.
• Work with customers during attended testing and liaise with PM.
• Develop test methods and contribute to department documentation.
