Job summary

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking an RF Test Technician whose primary duties include quality control and tuning/testing of RF telecommunication equipment using various testing equipment and resources.

This position is full time with a 5/8 schedule (7:00AM-3:30PM) and is in person only, with overtime available. Responsibilities include testing, inspecting, tuning, and troubleshooting RF, analog and digital circuit boards, setting up and operating equipment like network

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Ability to sit for long periods or time.
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office products.
• Manual dexterity to handle and solder small parts through magnifying glass or microscope.
• RF experience is strongly preferred.
• Soldering experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, tune and troubleshoot RF, analog and digital circuit boards and products to meet customer specifications.
• Set up and operate RF/test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, hi-pot and ground bond, oscilloscopes and digital probes.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections and ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
• Report defective materials, questionable conditions or equipment malfunctions to lead test technician.
• Record labor hours and other statistics into computer database.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and comply with safety regulations.
