Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace RF Technician role in San Jose, CA focuses on production testing and alignment of advanced microwave subsystems. You will perform RF tuning, circuit testing, data collection and produce feedback to manufacturing engineers.

You will join a team delivering high-reliability subsystems for missiles, radar and tuners, with a structured manufacturing environment and opportunities for growth. Security clearance eligibility is required; US person status applies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in basic electronics testing, tuning and trouble-shooting.
• Familiarity with microwave test equipment including network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters and DVMs.
• Good manual dexterity and experience working with a microscope and small hand-tools.
• Strong written and verbal skills with ability to follow instructions.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot microwave subsystems and circuit card assemblies in a production setting.
• Perform RF tuning and testing on MICs and review data for compliance.
• Maintain thorough records of testing and rework.
• Interface with manufacturing engineers in daily production meetings.
