Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an RF Technician for our San Jose, CA facility to support microwave subsystems testing and tuning for missile front ends, radar receivers, and synthesized sources. You will perform RF circuit alignment, circuit card testing, data collection, and collaborate with manufacturing engineers to meet production schedules.

Day shift Monday–Friday. Responsibilities include RF tuning and troubleshooting in a production environment, maintaining detailed records, and following

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years work experience troubleshooting, testing and tuning RF equipment.
• Familiarity with microwave test equipment including network/spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power supplies, power meters and DVMs.
• Ability to use small hand tools such as tweezers and torque drivers and experience working under a microscope.
• Good written and verbal skills and ability to carefully follow written instructions.
• Computer skills are required including file manipulation, file organization and Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Person under export laws.

Responsibilities

• Work in a production environment to perform testing and troubleshooting of microwave subsystems and circuit card assemblies and carefully review data for compliance.
• Work in a production environment to perform RF tuning, troubleshooting and testing on multi-function thin film microwave integrated circuits (MICs) and carefully review data for compliance.
• Carefully follow production documentation and processes, including keeping detailed records of testing and rework performed.
• Actively participate in daily production meetings and regularly interface with manufacturing engineers.
