Job summary

Quintech Electronics and Communications, Inc. is seeking an RF Test Technician for quality control and tuning of RF telecom equipment using various testing tools. The position is full time, 7:00AM-3:30PM, in person, with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities include testing RF, analog and digital boards, operating network/spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes, recording labor hours, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety policies. An associate's degree or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Must be able to sit for long periods.
• Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Must have manual dexterity to handle and solder small parts.
• RF experience strongly preferred.
• Soldering experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, tune and troubleshoot RF, analog and digital circuit boards to meet specs.
• Set up and operate RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, hi-pot, ground bond, oscilloscopes, digital probes).
• Perform visual and mechanical testing and inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Report defects and equipment malfunctions to lead test technician.
• Record labor hours and statistics into computer database.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• May work in other manufacturing departments as needed.

Job description

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking an RF Test Technician whose primary duties will include quality control and tuning/testing of RF telecommunication equipment using various testing equipment and resources.

This position is full time – 5/8 schedule (7:00AM-3:30PM) - In Person Only – Overtime available

Additional Duties:

• Perform testing, inspection, tuning and troubleshooting of RF, analog and digital circuit boards and products in an efficient manner to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Perform setup an operation of electrical, electronic and RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, hi-pot and ground bond, oscilloscopes and digital probes in an efficient manner.
• Conduct visual and mechanical testing as well as perform inspections to ensure adherence to approved company, industry and quality standards are met along with customer specifications; make adjustments and repairs as necessary.
• Report defective materials, questionable conditions, product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to lead test technician.
• Accurately record information such as labor hours and other statistics into computer database.
• Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations; wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other related duties as requested, directed, or assigned. May work in other manufacturing departments as needed.

Candidate Requirements:
