Job summary

Elve, Inc. is seeking an RF Test Automation Engineer to design, automate, and maintain RF test procedures and the supporting software frameworks used in production and engineering testing.

The role blends RF hardware, instrumentation, and software, and requires hands-on work across test systems in a fast-paced startup environment. You will translate engineering requirements into practical test procedures, automate them, and support continuous improvement of test coverage, reliability, and

Qualifications

• Strong RF fundamentals and RF parameters (S-parameters, gain, Pout).
• Hands-on with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers).
• Experience in Python and/or C++ programming.
• Proficient with Git version control.
• Ability to translate requirements into repeatable tests.
• Good communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF test procedures from engineering and product needs.
• Automate RF testing with maintainable software frameworks.
• Develop and maintain test software for data acquisition, processing, logging.
• Interface with RF test equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, generators).
• Troubleshoot issues spanning software, instrumentation, and RF hardware.
• Collaborate with RF, test, manufacturing and product engineers.
• Document methods and results for engineering and production use.
