Job summary

iRF Solutions in Sparks, MD is hiring for a full-time role focused on RF/microwave assembly, calibration, and testing. Onsite with a 9/80 schedule, the position requires hands-on troubleshooting, use of network/spectrum analyzers, and translation of schematics into test setups.

We seek candidates with a strong RF background, experience reading engineering docs, and soldering under a microscope. Security clearances may be required for government projects; local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years' experience or trade school with 4+ years relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of RF test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF generators, oscilloscopes, meters).
• Ability to read schematics and engineering docs; hands-on soldering under a microscope.
• Experience with LabVIEW and ability to write/modify ATE programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, calibrate, test, and repair RF/microwave components and prototype systems.
• Work with engineers to define test setups and calibration tasks.
• Perform rework and quality testing; use test equipment to verify product performance against specs.
• Record results and help improve manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment and modify as needed using schematic layouts.
