Job summary

iRF Solutions in Sparks, MD is seeking a hands‑on RF/microwave technician to support manufacturing, sub‑assembly, calibration, and test of parts and assemblies. You will work with engineers to define test setups and use test equipment to verify performance against specifications.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, data collection, and ensuring compliance with requirements, with a focus on soldering under a microscope and reading schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years' experience or trade school with 2+ years relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of RF test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF generators, oscilloscopes, power meters).
• Ability to read schematics and engineering documentation; good soldering techniques with microscope.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test RF/microwave components and prototype systems.
• Define test set-ups with engineers and calibrate as required.
• Perform rework and quality testing on parts and assemblies.
• Use automated test programs to evaluate product performance against specs.
