Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking an RF Test Engineer III to support testing and validation of complex aerospace systems, including spacecraft and satellites. You will work under senior engineers to help develop and execute RF test approaches and ensure test results meet program requirements.

You will implement test scripts in Python, LabVIEW, and MATLAB, work with EGSE and measurement instruments, and contribute to plans and reports while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS U.S. Security Clearance.
• Experience with requirements management, system design, and integration.
• Ability to read/interpret schematics and troubleshoot testing issues.

Responsibilities

• Support RF and space communications tests with antennas, VNAs, spectrum analyzers.
• Develop and execute test scripts in Python, LabVIEW, and MATLAB.
• Work with EGSE, power supplies, controls, instruments, sensors, and NI LabVIEW software.
• Prepare test procedures and reports; support development of test plans to show requirements compliance.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
