Job summary

Quartermaster AI in the United States seeks a detail‑oriented Technical Program Manager to drive execution across complex RF engineering programs. You will coordinate hardware, software, manufacturing, and operations to ensure ruggedized RF sensing systems meet on‑time, on‑spec deployment goals.

You will serve as the connective tissue between contributors, milestones, and customers, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and enabling leadership decisions with technical judgment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical program management, systems engineering, or hardware engineering on RF, wireless, or embedded hardware products.
• Proven track record delivering in ambiguous environments, creating the plan, structure, and ownership.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across hardware, software, and operations.
• Technical fluency across RF, digital hardware, and embedded software.
• Proven track record managing complex, multi‑phase programs with hardware/software integration.
• Experience with agile, hybrid, and milestone‑driven development methodologies.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build the strategic roadmap and execution plan for the RF sensing capability with lead engineers, turning customer needs into programs and milestones.
• Lead multiple RF product lines from prototype through production ramp and fielding.
• Manage contract manufacturers, design partners, and suppliers: builds, quotes, first articles, tests and procurement.
• Coordinate a blended team, defining scope and statements of work, tracking deliverables.
• Participate in design and test discussions with depth to spot risks and inform leadership decisions.
• Build and grow the team: define roles, write job descriptions, run hiring, and onboarding.
• Connect engineering with customers, growth, operations, and other teams to align commitments.
• Drive production readiness: testing, calibration, provisioning throughput, certification planning, and field support.
