Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a Program Manager to lead a portfolio of RF/mechanical/electrical projects and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery for domestic and international customers. You will report to the Division VP and collaborate with engineers, operations, and customers to drive successful outcomes and identify new business opportunities, including upgrades and training.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and budgeting skills, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience estimating labor and material costs.
• PM experience overseeing complex technical projects from design to manufacturing.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, production, and test.
• Strong problem-solving, risk evaluation, and decision-making.
• Willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information.
• Domestic travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex engineering projects with financial, technical and schedule objectives.
• Perform financial analyses and projections for management.
• Coordinate resources to realize project goals.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary engineering teams during design, development, and support.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting financial, technical, and schedule objectives.
• Assist in proposal efforts for new opportunities.
