AMETEK, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Program Manager for Standard Products & Services to lead a portfolio of RF-related projects from concept through delivery.

You will manage scope, cost, schedule, and performance for domestic and international customers, reporting to the Division VP, System and Product Services. The ideal candidate has a mechanical or electrical engineering background, proven program management experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering with leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing labor and material cost estimates.
• PM experience overseeing complex projects from design to manufacturing, assembly and testing.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, production and test.
• Strong problem-solving and risk evaluation skills in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex engineering projects with financial, technical and schedule objectives.
• Perform financial analysis and status reporting to management.
• Coordinate resources across the organization to meet goals.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary teams through design, development, and support of RF measurement systems.
• Identify and mitigate risks to financial, technical and schedule objectives.
• Contribute to proposals for new opportunities.
