Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in San Diego seeks a senior engineering leader responsible for technical/operational leadership on complex development programs, defining requirements with the Responsible Engineer, and guiding budgets and schedules.

You will manage RF subsystem development, interface with executive staff, and ensure performance against customer SDRLs, with incentive eligibility and compliance for U.S. export controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 6+ years of previous engineering experience including leadership on design and development projects.
• Expertise RF/Microwave subsystem design with simulation/verification knowledge.
• Hands-on engineering leadership in a project-based environment using project tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering effort within budget and schedule for development projects.
• Collaborate with program management to meet schedule and budget.
• Oversee engineering development, prototype build, test and resource allocation.
• Develop estimates to complete using EAC and risk management.
• Create and maintain project planning artifacts (IMS, I&T Plans, Resource Plans, R&M Matrix).
