Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Austin, TX is seeking an RF Systems Integration and Test engineer to define and execute high-throughput wireless tests for next-generation satellite systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to bring-up, integrate, and debug advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming RF systems.

The role requires a strong background in RF lab work, 3GPP testing, and co-design across RF, ASIC, SW, and testbed teams, with experience in Linux scripting and Python-based

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of professional experience in L1/L2 or beamforming.
Experience with RF lab equipment, bring-up, test and integration activities.

Responsibilities

Lead bring-up, integration, and debugging of PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems for satellite comms.
Define and execute 3GPP-based testing for satellite-ground networks and work with vendors for conformance testing.
Collaborate across RF, ASIC, SW, and Testbed teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Understand Doppler compensation techniques in LEO comms and test in lab environments.
Trade link budget and verify RF line-up for payloads in RF/IF configurations.
