Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Texas is hiring an RF Comms Systems Integration and Test Engineer to define and bring up high-throughput wireless satellite systems. You will work across PHY, RF, MAC, and firmware teams to achieve 3GPP conformance and top-tier performance.

Responsibilities include system integration, test automation, and debugging, leveraging Linux, Python, and scripting, to validate payloads and lab setups in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience in L1/L2 beamforming.
• Experience with RF lab equipment, bring-up, test and integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead bring-up, integration, and debugging of advanced PHY/MAC and beamforming radio systems for satellite comms.
• Define, document, and execute 3GPP-based testing for satellite-to-ground networks; work with vendors for conformance testing.
• Collaborate with PHY, RF, MAC, firmware teams to ensure seamless integration and high wireless performance.
• Understand Doppler compensation techniques in LEO systems and test them in lab environments.
• Trade link budget and verify RF line-up for payloads in RF/IF configurations.
• Characterize performance, analyze data, and root-cause system-level issues for quality.
