Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Moorestown, NJ, seeks an experienced First Line Manager to lead an RF engineering team of 16–20 engineers, guiding design, validation and production activities across multiple programs. You will coordinate with programs, manufacturing and SMEs to deliver robust RF hardware and systems throughout the life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 10+ years of relevant professional engineering experience.
• Demonstrated competence in managing cross-disciplinary teams with hardware engineering lifecycle understanding.
• Experience in strategic development and development of strategic relations.
• Experience in earned value, schedule, cost, and risk management techniques.
• Experience managing complex technical systems, programs and IRAD projects.
• Experience driving strategic activities pertaining to RF engineering.
• Experience executing on IRAD/CRAD contracts.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, programmatic, and administrative leadership to a 16–20 engineer team.
• Ensure successful implementation of requirements into designs for multiple programs.
• Coordinate with programs, manufacturing and SMEs for design and manufacturing efforts.
• Oversee the design, development, documentation, and testing of RF equipment and related hardware.
• Lead and ensure standards, processes, and procedures are followed throughout hardware development life cycle.
