Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Syracuse, NY is seeking an experienced RF/Microwave Hardware Design Engineer. You will lead analyses, design solutions, and solve development problems across multiple platforms while ensuring traceability and manufacturability.

Responsibilities include architecture design, modeling, RF testing, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. A related degree with 7–9 years of experience and the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related discipline with 9+ years of experience or Masters with 7+ years.
Proficient in RF modeling and simulation.
Understanding of RF/Microwave board design, shielding, and materials.
Proficiency with RF measurement techniques and equipment.
Experience leading multi-discipline development teams and managing cost/schedule.
Ability to obtain and hold SECRET level security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead RF/Microwave analyses, design solutions and resolve development problems across platforms.
Contribute to planning, system development, requirements decomposition and traceability.
Lead RF design maturation, interface with SMEs, and support manufacturing/testing.
Perform cascade analyses, modeling, simulation, and test of RF subsystems and components.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to communicate status and results.
